Mobile phone maker ties up with Globe

MANILA, Philippines - Telecommunication giant Globe has partnered with top mobile phone manufacturer Gionee Communication Equipment Co. Ltd. and is offering a number of free items to buyers of Gionee smart phones.

Under the partnership, buyers of Gionee smart phones can browse on their phones through Globe’s PowerSurf 99 plan which comes free with every Globe SIM given to Gionee buyers.

PowerSurf Plan 99 will allow customers to surf for up to 50 MB of web content for 30 days.

Under the tie-up with Globe, buyers of Gionee smart phones can choose from the following free services : 292 of one-minute video streaming, 256 of application download of game or songs, 102 Facebook messenger/We Chat/Viber messages, and 51 FB/Twitter posts per month. You can mix and match as long as it fits 50MB/month.

Gionee smart phone users will also be able to enjoy 5 Gionee Webpage view; three Word, Excel or PowerPoint attachments; and two downloads and uploads of picture or document per month. The freebies are good for two months.

Buyers of Gionee smart phones have until Jan. 17, 2014 to redeem their freebies.

Gionee Communication Equipment Co. Ltd. is one of the top mobile phone manufacturers in China.  The company has a strong partnership with MediaTek and Qualcomm, allowing Gionee to offer a wide product portfolio covering low-end feature phones to high-end smart phones.
