Century Properties to launch final tower of flagship project

MANILA, Philippines - Listed Century Properties Group Inc. will complete its offering of residential, commercial and office building portfolio in its flagship Century City development in Makati.

The property firm is launching the final tower in its masterplanned community this week, its top official said.

“We are launching two more buildings (in Century City),” said Century Properties chairman Jose E.B. Antonio.

One is the already announced Forbes Media Tower, the world’s first Forbes-branded office tower, that will offer around 60,000 square meters of premium office space in Makati.

The last tower in Century City will be an upscale residential tower, Antonio said, adding that launching is scheduled this week.

In its website, the property firm said the project named Century Spire is the last of five residential tower to rise in Century City.

“The building’s superlative architecture is designed by Daniel Libeskind, the visionary architect behind the rebuilding of New York’s Ground Zero and many other international, iconic edifices,” Century Properties said.

It features a three interlocking segments at the upper levels that resemble a crown.

Antonio said the final residential tower will complete all the offerings of Century Properties in the masterplanned community.

Forbes Media Tower and Century Spire will occupy the remaining 8,000 square meter lot in the 3.4-hectare flagship mixed-use development of Century Properties in the Philippines’ financial capital.

So far, upscale condominium projects in Century City are the Milano Residences, Knightsbridge Residences, Gramercy Residences and Trump Tower.

Century Properties is also building the 28-storey Centuria Medical Makati and the five-story Century City Mall in the mixed-use property.

In the first half, the listed property firm’s earnings jumped 12 percent to P1.06 billion led by strong and sustained residential sales and growing earnings from property management.
