Dy, ALI vice president and head of Operations and Support Services-Commercial Business Group Rowena Tomeldan and ALI vice president and head for Strategic Planning and Business Development-Commercial Business Group Cora G. South Park District, a 6.6 hectare development, is Avida’s first large-scale, masterplanned, mixed use development with an expansive and green central park that conveniently integrates the residential, retail and business clusters, creating a vibrant sense of community. Main components of the integrated community include Avida residential towers, a regional mall, BPO and traditional office buildings, and a central park.
South Park Mall will offer the best of retail, dining, and entertainment concepts, four cinemas, food court, supermarket and department store – all offering rewarding experiences through value-for-money shopping, engaging mall activities and events set in a fun and festive environment.
Located on top of the mall is South Park Corporate Center, a 38,000 square meters office building which will cater to the office requirements of BPO and traditional locators. The retail and office components will complement the integrated community providing an ideal live-work-play environment.
The entire South Park District project cost is an estimated P12 Billion.
South Park District will spur development and more economic activity in this growth area as it will help generate employment and promote local industries. The South Park Mall project is expected to generate approximately 5,000 jobs from start of construction all the way to mall operation. For the BPO offices, estimated jobs to be generated during a three (3) shift period would be at least 18,000-20,000 jobs.
