Free franchising sessions at AFFI show

MANILA, Philippines - The best homegrown franchise companies from the Association of Filipino Franchisers Inc. (AFFI) will share the secrets of their success at the free seminars and workshops scheduled during the 12th Filipino Franchise Show slated on Oct. 4-6, 2013 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.

Topics will include choosing the right franchise, funding, marketing strategies, as well as, specialized aspects of business – customer service, administrative concerns, human resources development, technology, food technology and food service, among others.

Speakers and topics on Oct. 4 include Armando Bartolome, AFFI president and chief executive officer (CEO) of GMB Franchise Developers Corp. on “Choosing the Right Franchise”; Paul Tan of Aquabest on “The Liquidity of a Water Franchise Business,” and the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines on “Vitality of Trademark.”

On Oct. 5, Bartolome will discuss “Franchising your Business”; Michael Lobrin, popular author of “Laugh with God” on “The NegosyanteMindset”; Dr. Antonio del Carmen, program director of Ateneo Graduate School of Business on “Master Entrepreneurship,” and Paulo Tibig, VCargo president and CEO on “Powerful Business Strategies.” 

On Oct. 6, speakers are Jayson Lo, author of “Younique” on “Younique Business Style,” Meralco on “Maximizing and Energy Savings for your Business,” Seaoil on “Business that Fuels the Economy,” and PLDT KaAsenso on “Maximizing Technology for Business Expansion.”
