Seminar on job evaluation and ranking set for non-teaching school personnel
MANILA, Philippines - The Center for Global Best Practices will launch a pioneering two-day seminar entitled “Job Evaluation and Ranking for Non-Teaching Employees in the Academe†scheduled on Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 19 and 20 at the EDSA Shangri-La Hotel in Mandaluyong City.
This special program will provide school owners, administrators and HR practitioners with the right framework, best practices and useful knowledge on job evaluation methodology; skills requirement analysis; ranking criteria; job grading and classification; and developing the salary matrix that will help align compensation structure for non-academic personnel whether they are in management handling administrative functions or in support services.

This seminar will feature lawyer Evelyn T. Del Rosario, Ed.D., author of the book Best School Practices: Frequently Asked Questions. She is an expert on labor and education law. She used to be a school administrator of South Mansfield College in 2008, former vice president for Human Resource Management and Development handling over 1400 personnel at the University of Mindanao from 1995 to 2007 and was also the former president of Asian Association of School Human Resource Management and Development Practitioners Inc. She has a doctorate degree, major in Educational Management. She has extensive experience in crafting school HR policy manuals and handbooks for personnel, faculty and students and has helped many academic institutions in creating these model documents aligned with the most current labor and education laws.
