Fiorgelato to open 20 new stores

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Milkin’ Corp., maker of Fiorgelato ice cream, remains bullish in the domestic market and has set its sights on opening 20 stores to mark its 20th year anniversary in 2013.

Milkin’ president and chief executive officer Richie Z. Cuna said the company is on track to achieving its targets as indicated in its 25-year program.

“We’re very happy because we have been hitting our targets.  We may have encountered challenges in the past 20 years but we were not distracted from our mission and vision,” Cuna emphasized.

Milkin’ will mark another milestone in its corporate history in four years when it celebrates its silver anniversary.

Cuna said he is enthusiastic about future prospects for the company particularly since Milkin now has the right people who are capable of steering the company towards achieving its goals.

“We have laid the necessary foundation for the company.  That is why I am positive that by the time we celebrate our 25th year anniversary, Milkin Corp. would have become one of the top companies in the Philippines,” Cuna said.

The company is known for selling ice cream which makes use of 100-percent fresh milk and imported ingredients from Italy.  Milkin’ markets and sells its ice cream under the Fiorgelato brand.

Fiorgelato ice cream stores, available in all SM, Robinsons and major malls nationwide, has been attracting start-up entrepreneurs with its affordable franchising package and very marketable products that allow easy and fast recovery of their investment.
