CEZA remits P88.4 M to national coffers

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA) administrator and chief executive officer Jose Mari B. Ponce shakes hands with President Aquino during the GOCC Dividends Day on June 4, 2013 at the Rizal Hall of the Malacañang Palace. CEZA has been ranked as the 18th agency in terms of total amount of remittances among the 38 GOCCs that remitted this day. With 158 active GOCCs in the country, this is a positive indicator to the stability of CEZA, being a first-time remitter. Ponce has expressed his support to P-Noy’s advocacy to Daang Matuwid, which is committed to good governance and anti-corruption measures, and seeks to include CEZA in the ‘Billionaire’s Club’ in the next couple of years.
