MANILA, Philippines - As part of invigorated efforts to raise the global competitiveness of the Philippine franchise sector particularly its members, the Philippine Franchise Association (PFA) is bringing to the country American franchising and management expert Dennis Lucas, who will facilitate this year’s Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) program, module IV, scheduled on July 15 to 16 at the AIM Conference Center Manila.
Lucas has more than 24 years of progressive management experience with emphasis on training and development, human resource management, client performance improvement, customer service, negotiation, and sales training. His clients include Cisco Systems, AT&T, Bell South and Sunbeam among many.
Lucas was recommended by the Institute of Certified Franchise Executives (ICFE), which runs the CFE program, under the US-based International Franchise Association (IFA), a close collaborator of PFA. The said program is a mini-MBA in Franchise Management, and is a marked of distinction in the franchising community.
“We are proud to say that the Philippines, which was the first country to offer the CFE program outside the US, also has the most number of CFE graduates,†PFA President Elizabeth “Yvette†Pardo-Orbeta who’s a CFE graduate herself, said.
PFA chairman Emeritus Samie Lim and PFA Vice chairman Ma. Alegria “Bingâ€Sibal-Limjoco brought the CFE program to the Philippines.
The CFE program is an integral component of Franchise Asia Philippines 2013 slated on July 17 to 21 at the SMX Convention Center.
