Best practices in business protocol

MANILA, Philippines - Protocol is the universal language of diplomacy with a set of rules all countries and parties follow in the conduct of business, politics, and socials. A mastery of this will enable you to handle any type of person in all kinds of situation whether you are in marketing or management, negotiating or entertaining guests, friends or clients, dealing with people of different cultures, meeting with VIPs, foreign dignitaries and government officials, or simply chatting with one’s in-laws. Believe it or not, protocol spells the difference between success and failure in business, in your career and in your personal life.

Historically, this was only taught exclusively for diplomats, ambassador and their protocol officers when they have to deal with governments and nations.  With the clamour of business leaders and government officials to learn this important subject, the Center for Global Best Practices (CGBP), in collaboration with the International Chamber of Commerce, is holding a special seminar entitled, “Best Practices in Business Protocol” on Wednesday, June 19, 2013, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Peninsula Hotel, Makati City.
