2 RBs adopt Nucleus Software IT platform
MANILA, Philippines - Nucleus Software Exports Ltd., a leading global provider of integrated software products for banks and financial institutions, has partnered with two Philippine rural banks to improve their overall banking operations.
Under the arrangement, Nucleus Software would provide competitive IT solutions and consultancy services suited for retail and corporate banking as well as cash management.
The two rural banks, Mindanao-based First Valley Bank and Pampanga-based Bank of Florida, will use Nucleus Software’s flagship product, FinnOne.
FinnOne contains integrated applications, designed to provide operational, risk management and decision-making support, said Vishnu Dusad, chief executive officer and managing director of Nucleus Software.
The product would also enable faster decision-making and managing the day-to-day operational challenges faced by banks in deposits, lending and CASA management, all with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality products and services to clients.
As a result, banks’ productivity would increase.
V Muralikrishna, Nucleus Software’s global head of sales and marketing, said: “The rural banks will definitely get ROI for their investment. With the technology that we are bringing, the bank system will be centralized. With the FinnOne technology, customers can now withdraw or loan from any branch, they do not necessarily have to go to their mother branch, significantly increasing the speed in processing customer requests and services.â€
Aside from rural banks, Nucleus Software also aims to aid the banks’ customers, mostly local entrepreneurs from small to medium-scale enterprises (SMEs), by ensuring that they can access banking services that will aid them in terms of profitability and sustainability, Dusad said.
“Constant innovation and upgrading of banks’ internal systems and processes is imperative in today’s environment. We are glad to partner with First Valley Bank and Bank of Florida and are confident that our solutions will help build a secure and scalable retail banking infrastructure and enhance customer experience,†he added.
Aside from the Philippines, Nucleus Software has offices in Singapore and South Korea.
