U-Franchise partners with Singapore firm
MANILA, Philippines - U-Franchise Sales & Management Inc. has partnered with A.S. Louken, Singapore’s top brand management firm, as part of a strategy to bring more locally bred franchise concepts to the global market.
The two companies kicked off their joint activities with a one-day seminar on effective branding last Thursday at the Fairmont Hotel in Makati City that was attended by over 200 brand owners.
The event was supported by Francorp Philippines, PLDT SME, the Philippine Franchise Association and the Philippine Retailers Association.
A.S. Louken CEO Luke Lim flew in from Singapore to talk on the topic “The Road to Brand Growth: Building Successful Brands.â€
Lim founded A.S. Louken Group and authored Asia’s award-winning bestseller book “Secrets of the Little Red Cowâ€. A.S. Louken has over 13 years of experience in partnering with more than 600 brands, and thus has deep knowledge and experience in building and rejuvenating Asian enterprises, by fuelling their growth through branding.
A highly sought-after expert on brand-growth strategies, A.S. Louken operates in 11 countries including China, Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia, where similar seminars have been staged, benefitting more than 10,000 participants in the Asia-Pacific region.

Samie Lim, chairman of U-Franchise and Francorp Philippines, said their next project will be a two-day workshop in April where a select small group of 10 local brands will get extensive training and drills in brand engineering and management.
“We will show them real case studies of successful brands. It will give them strong ideas where their brand will be heading in a few years,†Lim, the CEO of A.S. Louken said.
