MANILA, Philippines - As part of its corporate citizenship program and to assist interested entrepreneurs to start an effective and profitable laundry business, Whirlpool will be holding a 2-day laundry seminar on March 15 and 16 from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the North Palm Hotel & Garden, Andreliz Bldg. JP Laurel Ave., Davao City. Participants will learn the important aspects on how to put up a laundry business and will be taught the rudiments of doing laundry. They will also be introduced to such details as what machines, detergents and other elements to use. Likewise, they will be told where to get laundry equipment, detergents and dry-cleaning solvents as well as the details of business management and financing. Interested participants will be charged a fee of P1,950 inclusive of lunch, snacks and seminar handouts to be used throughout the sessions. Participants who register on or before Feb. 28 will be given a discounted rate of P1,600.
