MANILA, Philippines - IP Converge Data Services Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of ePLDT Inc., has rolled out a new suite of cloud-based specialty applications for business particularly for small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
The leading Internet data center operator and cloud services provider through cloud.com.ph yesterday launched two enterprise back office applications called IPC PayCheck and IPC ProcessCloud.
IP-Converge marketing director Niño Valmonte said in a statement that both applications are designed to give Filipino businesses particularly SMEs the opportunity to take advantage of world-class business applications at more cost-efficient rates.
“We urge SMEs to take advantage of the wide range of enterprise cloud services available to experience enhanced workplace productivity without having to invest large capex on similar premise-based systems,†Valmonte stressed.
According to him, cloud computing would be the standard for business operations in the near future and IP-Converge is committed to be at the forefront of delivering enterprise cloud solutions to empower the Filipino business community.
IP-Converge’s new cloud applications are both hosted in the company’s state-of-the-art data center facility and made accessible over the Internet through its robust telco-grade network infrastructure.
“These applications being hosted locally in IPC Data Center translates to faster access because of better network latency, and also gives customers guaranteed service availability and access to local support, which Filipino businesses deem highly important,†he said.
IPC PayCheck features a built-in bundy clock system and could also be integrated with existing biometric systems, allowing employee’s timesheets to be automatically updated. Employees are also given access to their own 201 files with the custom Employee Portal.
The system enables companies to manage their own payroll accurately, on time and with ease, from anywhere with Internet access and at the same time ensures government reporting compliance with Bureau of Internal Revenue, Social Security System, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG.
On the other hand, IPC ProcessCloud is an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system built on a cloud platform that allows users to initiate or update internal processes remotely or even while on the go.
It comes with a broad portfolio of application suites ranging from financial and analytics, sales and services, and logistic operations. Various modules for manufacturing, sales, inventory, purchasing, accounts receivable/payable, web ordering, etc. are available and can be easily configured to match a particular company’s requirements.
ePLDT Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of dominant carrier Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co. (PLDT).
