The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - G-Xchange, Inc. (GXI), a wholly owned subsidiary of Globe Telecom, announced the second winner of a brand new car for its GCash Remit cash pick-up service promo in partnership with Xpress Money.

For claiming remittance from her OFW daughter using GCash Remit, Remedios Valdezco, 62, single mother of three, became the final winner of a brand new Hyundai Eon car worth P500,000 in “Sa Xpress Money Swerte, Sa GCash Remit Magka-Kotse” raffle promo. Valdezco, who resides in Norzagaray, claimed her remittance from a GCash Remit payout outlet. Her daughter working in the Middle East sent the remittance using Xpress Money.

The promo, which ran from July 15 to Oct. 14, 2012, gave away brand new Hyundai Eon cars to two lucky OFW families. GCash Remit and Xpress Money also awarded five lucky winners of P10,000 each.

GCash Remit is one of the largest remittance networks in the Philippines today with over 7,000 accredited payout outlets including pawnshops, rural banks, loading stations, grocery stores, gift shops, pharmacies, internet cafes, food establishments, and cellphone shops.

On the other hand, Xpress Money, one of the world’s most dependable money transfer services, enables people to send money instantly from around the world to anywhere in the Philippines with huge savings on time. It has, in a short span of time, become the favorite brand of millions of people across the world, helping them connect with their loved ones, hassle-free.
