MANILA, Philippines - The Buy Pinoy Movement Foundation Inc. (BPMFI) starts today the 24th Buy Pinoy Exporters Fair at the Megatrade Hall 3 of SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City, showcasing the best of Filipino products and services.
Marlane Villa-Real, president of BPMFI, said the Buy Pinoy Exporters Fair aims to be a venue for learning for both exporters and the general public to appreciate and patronize local industries whose products and services conform to international standards. The event will also be a venue to share best practices and initiatives from various groups promoting love for country through love for Filipino products.
The fair also aims to continue igniting the desire to help save jobs and make locally-made products more globally competitive.
The Buy Pinoy Exporters Fair will be a great attraction for shoppers seeking beautiful and practical gifts for the Christmas season as well as for their own use at very affordable prices. Filipino exporters and suppliers will flood the venue with their products such as apparel, shoes, handicraft, Christmas decors, fashion accessories, food, furniture, corporate gifts and premiums, among others.
With the commitment to the “Buy Pinoy Save Jobs” advocacy, BPMFI shall once again gather leaders from key industry players with the same ardor to promote locally made products during the annual fair to be led by the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce & Industry Inc. (FFCCCII) in close collaboration with the Philippine Exporters Confederation (PhilExport), Christmas Decor Producers and Expporters Association of the Philippines (CDPEAP), Philippine Chamber of Handicraft Industries Inc. (PCHI), Philippine Food Processors and Exporters Organization Inc. (PhilFoodex), Home Accents Group of the Philippines (HAPI) and the Meycauayan Jewelry Industry Association Inc. (MJIA).
Dr. Cecilio K. Pedro, president of Lamoiyan Corp., Cynthia Villar, Managing Director of Villar Foundation and other prominent personalities are expected to grace the opening ceremonies.
