Century sets 2013 opening of Makati mall

MANILA, Philippines - Century Properties Group Inc. is soon to see its first retail development with its five-level Century City mall in Makati, which is expected to open its doors to the public in 2013.

Located within the 3.4 hectare master-planned development Century City along Kalayaan Ave., the mall will have a gross floor area of 50,000 square meters.

Century co-chief operating officer and managing director Marco R. Antonio said the mall would serve as the neighborhood lifestyle center for Century City residents, tenants, employees and visitors.

The mall will feature a supermarket and stores, concept shops, four cinemas, cafes and restaurants. Approximately 110 retail spaces are currently being leased out.

Three basement floors with 527 parking slots will be available for visitors/guests.

 “We understand that retail is an integral component of every mixed-use development, especially so when it has residential buildings. Similar to how we have incorporated innovation, quality and value to our other projects, we will seek to elevate the lifestyle experience a notch higher in our first ever retail development,” Antonio said.

Century City, the flagship development of Century Properties, comprises luxury residential towers Gramercy Residences, Knightsbridge, Versace Home-interior designed Milano REsidenes, Trum Tower;an outpatient medical-IT building called Centuria Medical City, and offices.

The completion dates of these buildings will start from December 2012 to 2016.

With 26 years in the business of real estate development, marketing and property management, Century Properties has completed 20 condominium buildings (4,128 units) with a total GFA of 548,262 sqm and is currently managing 51 properties as of Dec. 31, 2011.
