GPRS open for franchising

MANILA, Philippines - Global Pinoy and Remittance Services (GPRS), a one stop consumer and remittance service firm, is offering franchising opportunities to interested parties, who want to set up their own private businesses.

GPRS representative Francine Bengco said franchisees could provide the following services to their potential clients: bills payment; remittance - local and international; airline ticketing; loading center /unified loading; and hotel and resort booking.

According to Bengco, GPRS is an accredited consumer services and remittance firm, which has been accredited by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas to serve Filipinos, who are based locally and internationally.

As a fast-growing global remittance company, GPRS is an online (web-based) transactional and reporting facility linked with major banking networks like Bancnet, Megalink, and Expressnet, Bengco said.

Taking advantage of the more than 50 million cellphone users, GPRS has developed an accessible airtime transfer through our easy and effective loading system, as it allows load transfers to any Globe, Smart, or Sun using only one SIM card. The GPRS website can also be used for load transfers, Bengco said.

According to Bengco, the GPRS remittance services currently covers19 countries: Australia, Austria, Canada, Greece, Hong Kong, Japan, Ireland, New Zealand, Oman, Kuwait, Palau, Saudi Arabia, United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland), United States, Qatar, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, and United Arab Emirates.

Bengco said GPRS, in partnership with Cebuana Lhuillier’s Pera Padala, is bringing the pick-up service to the Global Filipino community, enabling recipients to pick up the remittance money over the counter through all Cebuana Lhuillier’s branches nationwide.
