MANILA, Philippines - A select number of Asia Pacific’s real estate agents and consultants were recently rewarded for their excellence during the 2012 Asia Pacific Property Awards.
CBRE Philippines won the highest national award after being conferred the “Five Star Award” in all four categories, namely the lettings agency, property consultancy marketing, real estate agency, and real estate agency marketing. Five star is the highest distinction given on any category.
The actual awards were presented during the country award ceremony and gala dinner held in Malaysia recently.
The Asia Pacific Property Awards, which are being held annually in association with HSBC, forms part of the long-established International Property Awards. Its winners’ logo is recognised as a symbol of excellence throughout the global industry. These accolades help distinguish service excellence in the property industry worldwide and promote an international standard.
Later this year, the highest scoring winners from the Asia Pacific Property Awards will compete against other winning companies from Europe, Africa, the Americas and Arabia to find the ultimate ‘World’s Best’ in each of these categories.
The Asia Pacific region has an enviable record of achievement at the international level, having won an unbeaten total of 13 World’s Best Awards in 2011.
The judging panel for this year’s awards consists of approximately 70 professionals including Fiona Nixon, chairman of the Australian Institute of Architects; Patrick Grove, co-founder of IPGA Ltd.; Peter Bolton King, group chief executive of the National Federation of Property professionals; David Dalby of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS); and Mike McNamara of the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS).
