Phil-Israel biz forum slated

MANILA, Philippines - The Israel Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ICCP) in collaboration with the Department of Trade and Industry and Embassy of the State of Israel will hold a business forum on March 8, 2012, 3 p.m. at the AVR DTI International Manila. It will highlight Philippine-Israel bilateral trade and investment opportunities, current recovery in export/import to and from Israel and assessment on how to further and continuously nourish the solid foundation between the two countries.

His Excellency Ambassador Menashe Bar-On, Israel envoy to Manila, will be part of the forum together with Josef Gueta, president of the Israel Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ICCP) and incumbent chairman of foreign chamber council of the Philippines (FCCP); Ophir Gore, Israel Commercial Attaché for Asia, based in Taipei; Eugenio Ynion, ICCP Trustee and chairman of Yngen Holdings, exclusive representative of ZIM Line Israel; Ferdinand Sarfati, ICCP executive director; SenenPerlada, DTI director, Bureau of Export Trade and Lerma Piquero, Market Strategy and Consultancy Group, Bureau of Export Trade Promotion.

For this special forum, the Department of Trade and Industry which is the main link for trade opportunities and investment inquiries, collaborated with the ICCP, the link for Israeli nationals and other local and foreign investors whose primary and initial interest is to research and study Philippine market trends as well as secure relations with local businessmen. ICCP is dedicated to promoting the increase of bilateral trade of both countries.
