MANILA, Philippines - Philippine Seven Corp. (PSC), the exclusive local licensee of the globally-successful 7-Eleven convenience store chain, marked the tribute to growing partnerships and top performing franchisees in the recent 7th Franchise Appreciation Day held at the World Trade Center Tent.
The entire 7-Eleven franchise community turned out in droves to the event held to celebrate mutual partnerships and to thank them for their loyal support over the years. With the theme, “Ready, Get Set, Grow”, PSC Business Development manager Francis Medina said that the company is deeply thankful to all its franchisees, as they took the chance to grow successfully with 7-Eleven.
PSC president Jose Victor Paterno, in his speech, meanwhile shared the company’s growth leap platforms for the remaining quarter, as well as the onset of an exciting 2012 for 7-Eleven.
Apart from continued expansion, PSC has initiated the first phase of the planned “new look” of all 7-Eleven stores in the country. According to Paterno, the store renovation will include the use of energy-efficient LED lighting and air-conditioning inverters, “at no extra costs for franchisees.”
“We want to create a better ambiance and achieve a unified, updated look for all c-stores. Aside from the look, we will also aim for a cleaner, clutter-free format to provide more display space for our products,” he added.
As for the business side, Paterno said the company encourages multiple franchising by using existing stores as collateral for new store acquisition. “All these slated improvements are well-planned as we step up the game to keep up with the changing markets,” he noted.
Also there to share his “growth experience” is franchisee Ronald Christian Uy, as he recognized PSC’s role in the successful management of his multiple stores.
Apart from the flowing buffets and festive live entertainment, the night was literally jampacked with surprise features as fabulous raffle prizes proliferated – and waited – for their lucky winners.
