Carmen's best ice cream hailed

MANILA, Philippines - Food critics and certified foodies chose Carmen’s Best Ice Cream the winner of Rockwell’s Ultimate Taste Test 6, a joint activity of Our Awesome Planet and The Power Plant Mall. Carmen’s Best Ice Cream delighted UTT6 goers with its offering of mouthwatering home-made Salted Caramel, Coffee, Butter Pecan, Butterscotch, Malted Milk, Cookie Dough, Tahitian Vanilla and Chocolate-flavored ice cream-a total of 19 flavors.More than 1200 guests attended the sold-out gathering of 50 food brands featured altogether in one exciting food-tasting event — the first in the Ultimate Taste Test series held at the Rockwell Tent. Other winners of the Ultimate Taste Test 6 were: Luigi’s, for its Chicken Cordon Bleu with a choice of Aligue Mayo, Cream Cheese or Wasabi Sauce; and 5 Loaves and 2 Fish, for its Baked Crunchie Veggie Chips served with Homemade Dips and Spreads. El Kapitan Food Enterprise was awarded the Best Drink for its Spiced Chai concoction.
