Seminar on laundry shop operation set

MANILA, Philippines - Laundry business fulfills a basic necessity in life the reason why it’s becoming to be a profitable business nowadays. It’s a simple venture and can be run with no experience, its just a matter of educating yourself first to learn the ropes of the laundry shop operation. 

The Golden Treasure Skills Development Program will conduct a two-day seminar on laundry shop operation at the College of Social Work and Community Development, Magsaysay Ave. cor Ylanan St.University of the Philipines, Diliman,Quezon City on Nov. 26 and 27, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The seminar will cover basic information on getting started on the business, sustaining operations, and possibly branching out.

Additional topics to be discussed are the basic types of services, the set-up of a laundry shop, equipment to use, workflows, pre-opening factors, marketing strategies, staffing, and organization.

Specific procedures on dry cleaning, including a demonstration on how to dry-clean, iron, a barong tagalog, gowns, etc. and how to aromatized the laundry will also be discussed.
