Vista Land allots P530 million for Tagaytay project

- Zinnia B. Dela Peña -

MANILA, Philippines - Vista Land & Lifescapes Inc., through its high-end brand Brittany, is spending P530 million to develop the third building of its Swiss-inspired serviced apartment project Grand Quartier in Tagaytay.

Camille A. Villar, daughter of Sen. Manuel Villar and chief operating officer of Britanny, said the third building will rise on a 3,306-square meter property or more than double the 1,436-square meter lot size of the first two buildings.

The third building, which will be nine- storys high, will house a total of 100 units, consisting of 72 studio units, 24 one-bedroom units and four two-bedroom units.

This would bring Vista Land’s total investment in the project to around P1 billion. Grand Quartier forms part of the 100-hectare masterplanned Crosswinds luxury resort community.

Studio units of 44 square meters will be sold for P4.5 million each, one bedroom units with 66 sqm. will go for about P7 million, while the 94 sqm. two-bedroom units will be priced at around P10 million each.

“With the surge of local and balikbayan tourists who prefer Tagaytay as their vacation destination, there is a steadily growing demand for condominium units in the area,” said Villar, noting that small boutique hotels have also mushroomed in the last three years to meet market demand.

Grand Quartier is also being operated as a condotel which allows its residents to earn while they are not using their units. The condotel is being served and managed by boutique hotel operator Hospitality Inc.

The first two phases of the Grand Quartier has already been sold out. The first phase consisting of 70 units is already fully operational while the 80 units of the second phase are about half built. The banquet hall, which will service the suites, will be operational by the end of the year.

All units have a balcony to provide maximum enjoyment of the scenic view of the Taal Volcano and Lake as well as the mountainside.

Villar said, that under the masterplan for Crosswinds, enough space has been set aside for as much as 10 Grand Quartier phases costing a total of P5 billion in investments.

“What sets the Grand Quartier apart from other condominiums available in Tagaytay is that it places Brittany’s trademark of luxury, quality, and exclusive homes amidst a tranquil and unmatched setting of 20,000 pine trees reminiscent of being in Switzerland,” Villar said.
