MANILA, Philippines - Outgoing Goldilocks president Freddie Go Sr. – who will continue to provide strategic guidance as the company’s chairman – recently announced that Richard Leelin Yee will take over his post. “Richard Yee represents the modern leadership required to meet the challenges of an increasingly global world. The torch has been passed, and we are certain that he will enhance Goldilocks’ culture of innovation, while driving the brand’s growth,” said Go. For the past 17 years, Yee has held the vital position of finance director for Goldilocks. Rounding off his understanding of the overall operations of the company are his previous positions, namely marketing and sales director for three years, and plant manager for two years. He is also a director in various companies engaged in industries ranging from brand licensing, printing and packaging, and equipment design and manufacturing. “This is the start of an exciting time for me, and I am eager to build on our momentum,” Yee commented. “I look forward to sharing the next phase of our journey with our customers and employees, as we strive to make Goldilocks an iconic brand throughout the world,” he further emphasized. As part of the change in management, Go likewise appointed Franklin Leelin Go as its new vice president. This complements his role as the company’s store operations director. Goldilocks is celebrating it’s 45th anniversary this year. These management developments are aligned with its commitment to ensure that the brand remains even more relevant for future generations.
