Bancommerce opens first walk-in branch

MANILA, Philippines - Bank of Commerce (Bancommerce) has garnered yet another landmark achievement with the relocation of its former Acropolis branch to the Eastwood C5 Petron service station located in Brgy. Bagumbayan, C-5, Quezon City.

This first Bancommerce branch at a Petron service station marks the first milestone in the bank’s strategic partnership with Petron Corp., which is owned by diversifying conglomerate, San Miguel Corp. (SMC).

The establishment of branches in Petron service stations is part of the bank’s greater strategy to reach out further to its target clients through synergies with SMC and its subsidiaries such as Petron. “This first branch demonstrates the strength of the Bancommerce and Petron collaboration, as it is in line with the bank’s vision to help build a better nation by serving Filipino families and corporations, one banking transaction at a time,” Deo Jacinto, SVP & branch banking head said.

Executives from Petron, including VP – national sales division Tomas Cadiz Jr., Trade Manager Andrew Tan; Business Development Executive Julius Perez; and Business Development Coordinator, Chito Malilin, graced the occasion.
