Manila, Philippines - President Aquino and Trade and Industry Secretary Gregory L. Domingo have heaped praises on the Pamilyang Overseas Filipino Workers-Small and Medium Entrepreneurs Network Foundation Inc. (Pamilyang OFWs) for organizing the Handog kay P-Noy Jobs and Livelihood Expo 2011 (Part 2) and the 10th Pamilyang OFWs-Micro, Small and Medium Entrepreneurs Expo which is slated on June 24-25 at the Philippine Trade Training Center in Pasay City. In his message to the Pamilyang OFWs, President Aquino said: “I thank the Pamilyang OFW-SME Network Foundation Inc. for organizing this exposition series, especially since these serve as venues where Filipino workers can explore opportunities to make full use of their earnings and resources by engaging in profitable and worthwhile endeavors. I am certain that the options made available in these activities will help empower our kababayans and make them better entrepreneurs and investors and, therefore, more potent agents of change and progress.” Pamilyang OFWs president George Arban Arriola said the twin expo aims to empower the OFWs and MSMEs as well as their families through information, opportunities and benefits. It also aims to transform a majority of OFW families into community entrepreneurs.
