Mariott names sales director

MANILA, Philippines - Marriott Manila announced the appointment of Cristina Silvestre-Carreon as director of sales and marketing.

Known in the industry as Cristy, she boasts an impressive career record since 1996 where she started as a sales executive at the Renaissance Makati where she had a comprehensive training at the sales and marketing department.

Her career took off when she was promoted as the director of sales, a position she handled for four years. 

In 2006, her hard work and perseverance paid off when she was promoted the director of marketing for Renaissance Makati and passionately spearheaded the sales and catering of this 598 room hotel while managing at the same time the event, revenue/reservations and marketing communications.
