MANILA, Philippines - IABC Philippines officially announced that the nomination for the 2011 Communication Excellence in Organizations (CEO) EXCEL Awards is now open.
The CEO Excel Awards represents the highest individual standard of communication excellence for top level executives, movers and leaders. This honor is conferred annually by IABC Philippines on the country’s CEOs, presidents, managing directors and top-level leaders for their exceptional and ethical use of communication strategies and tools in their management and leadership to achieve both business and societal goals.
Since 2005, the CEO Excel Awards has recognized top Philippine-based business leaders across all sectors and industries who masterfully and effectively champion the use of excellent communication as a business strategy to help achieve targets, establish esprit de corps among internal audiences, build and enhance relationships of trust, resolve and manage crisis and uphold the organization’s reputation among all stakeholders.
The CEO Excel Awards is the Philippine adaptation of the global Excel Award given by IABC to one outstanding CEO during the Annual IABC World Conference held every June in North America.
“The award was primarily created to raise public awareness of the essential role of strategic and effective communication in today’s business management and organizational growth. We look forward to our winners in the Philippine CEO Excel Award winning the global Excel Award and receiving the honor at the world conference,” said Elpi Cuna, chairman, IABC Philippines.
The deadline for nominations is on April 29, 2011. Early bird rate (up to April 8, 2011 only) is P8,960 for both IABC and non-IABC members. Regular rates are at P10,080 for IABC members and P11,200 for non-members.
