Baking courses offered

MANILA, Philippines - Enrollment is open at the PAFMIL Baking School for its second quarter 2011 course offerings. The 20-day basic commercial baking course begins on May 2. Only 20 participants will be accepted in this intensive, combined theory and hands-on course. For a tuition of P15,000, students are to learn the science of baking. Unlike other courses that are recipe-based, PAFMIL’s baking course is designed to impart to the students the science behind baking and discusses the roles and functions of every ingredient in the baking process. A basic cake decoration course follows on June 13 while a baking course for allied industry workers is scheduled on June 20.
