MANILA, Philippines - Philips Healthcare and local company Medical One Corp. have reached an agreement for the latter to serve as official Philippine distributor of all ultrasound product lines of Philips effective February 2011.
The agreement covers Philips Healthcare ultrasound equipment that cater to all clinical specialties, including such specific areas as cardiology, general imaging, emergency medicine, intervention, regional anaesthesia and vascular and women’s health. This synergistic partnership combines Philip’s vaunted strengths in the healthcare sector with Medical One’s reputation for service reliability and local market leadership.

Medical One is a Metro-Manila based importer and distributor of medical equipment and supplies with a long-established reputation for reliability in servicing the equipment acquired by its clients. Its business is focused on diagnostic imaging, operating theatre, patient care and life support systems, ENT and neurology equipment, and perinatal and specialty products.
In operation for 29 years, its head office is at 1401/1410 West Tower, Tektite Bldg., Philippine Stock Exchange Center in Pasig City. It has the largest distribution network in the industry with five regional offices located in Cebu City and Iloilo City in the Visayas; Davao City and Cagayan de Oro City in Mindanao; and Dagupan City in Luzon. These are staffed by a 130-man complement of sales, technical service, applications and product support, and administrative personnel.
