-

MANILA, Philippines - Nokia has announced changes in the sales leadership teams in Southeast Asia Pacific. Nokia has appointed Neil Gordon as the new vice president, Sales for Southeast Asia Pacific. Neil takes over the reins from Chris Carr who will move back to Australia as the new general manager for Australia and New Zealand.

“Neil has a wealth of Nokia experience in many markets including Asia, Middle East, Africa and Europe with his previous role as head of sales operations based in Finland. He is highly recognized for his sales and financial acumen and drive for results. Neil has now moved to Singapore to lead the SEAP sales unit with this new appointment”, said Colin Giles, Nokia’s senior vice president and head of global sales.

“I am looking forward to returning to Asia, albeit in a different role to lead the sales team in the region. The markets within SEAP continue to offer tremendous growth potential and I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to work with our talented and highly engaged team. We are a market leader in mobile communications in this region and I intend to leverage our strengths to further solidify our position in the market, working closely with our customers and business partners, to jointly bring products and solutions that will delight consumers across SEAP,” said Gordon.
