MANILA, Philippines - There are plenty of opportunities in the agribusiness sector for the next five to 10 years, according to the Project Jobsfit study of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE). For individuals who are interested in starting an agribusiness venture, MFI Farm Business Institute (MFI-FBI) already has two training workshops lined up for 2011. A two-day seminar on Investment Opportunities in Malunggay from Jan. 27 to 28 will be conducted at the MFI Building located along Ortigas Ave. and will feature lectures and hands-on activities. The second day includes a hands-on activity in the MFI demo farm in Calamba and a field trip in Batangas. The Bonsai Gardening Workshop will be conducted at MFI on Feb. 18.
