MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Franchise Association (PFA) announced the holding of “Leading Change” seminar with renowned motivational speaker and STAR Business columnist Francis J. Kong on Dec. 14, 2010 at the Oakwood Premier –Joy Nostalg Center, Ortigas, Pasig City.
The second offering of the PFA on its leadership and motivational seminar series, “Leading Change” will focus on leadership development by understanding innovation and using it to achieve greater levels of growth for the company. Moreover, the seminar will give participants the building blocks to develop the traits and styles of an innovative leader, hone existing skills and nurture new strengths.
Organized by the premier and the biggest franchise association in the country, the seminar is part of its road map in reinforcing the association’s thrust of elevating the competitiveness of the franchise sector through various capability-building programs.
“At this point, we at PFA are looking forward to a more vibrant Philippine franchising sector, especially since we are preparing for the staging of Franchise Asia 2011 which the Philippines, through PFA , will host in September next year. As this big international event will be the sector’s window to the world, we want Philippine franchises to be ready to compete in the global market,” PFA president and Wendy’s chair Yvette Pardo-Orbeta said.
Registration for PFA members is at P1,500, with a special group rate of one free participant for every two registrants. For non- PFA members, seminar rate is at P2,500.
