New lubricants from Korea set for launching

MANILA, Philippines - SK Lubricants (Korea) and SK Techno-lube Corp. set will launch tomorrow a new line of products at The EDSA Shangri-La Hotel.

In line with SK group’s philosophy of spreading the Wings of Happiness, SK Lubricants through its continuing research & development – Tech Innovation..... Creating Happiness – is launching its newest automotive lubricants with the latest American Petroleum Institute (API) approvals and International Lubricants Standardization Approval Committee (ILSAC) GF specification.

This new line of products helps meet the most recent global fuel economy regulation as set by the corporate average fuel ecnomy (CAFE) first enacted by the United States congress in 1975, and by the European Union carbon emission regulation.

SK Lubricants’ ZIC OW SAE 0W-30; ZIC A+ SAE 5W-20m and A+ SAE 5W-30 not only meets the latest API SN rating but also the ILSAC GF-5 (Resource Conserving), for advanced fuel econmy and lesser exhaust emission.

The event will be attended by various car manufacturers/distributors/dealers and special guests of Timmy G. Tan, chairman of SK-Techno-lube Corp., and executives from SK Lubricants of the Republic of Korea.

SK Techno-lube is the exclusive distributor of ZIC products in the Philippines. ZIC are synthetic lubricants made from YUBASE, a very-high-viscosity-index (VHVI) base oil produced by SK Lubricants Ltd. Established in 2007, SK-Techno-lube set up numerous dealer networks across the archipelago and has customers in the automotive, marine and industrial sectors.
