2GO boosts presence in Mindanao

MANILA, Philippines - 2GO, the country’s total supply chain solutions provider, has strengthened its presence in Mindanao as it offers more frequent direct services to key destinations in the region such as Davao and General Santos City.

2GO chief executive officer Susan Valdez said they are now providing weekly direct services from Manila to Davao and General Santos City, and vice versa, that would serve cattle and fruit shipments, while Butuan is now served twice a week by the bigger SuperFerry 21 roll-on roll off passenger (ropax) vessel to better accommodate banana shipments.

“We have improved speed, reliability, and efficiency in our service in Mindanao with the additional frequency to these key destinations,” said Valdez.

2GO also started servicing Surigao province that would support the expanding business opportunities in the CARAGA Region which is comprised of Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Surigao del Norte, and Surigao del Sur.

“This is our way of helping small and medium businessmen all over the country. We want to give them greater access to cost-effective but reliable transport solutions. We want them to know that 2GO is their reliable supply chain partner that aims to help their businesses grow,” Valdez pointed out.

2GO combines flexibility, know-how, and integrated menu of services in providing solutions to its customers. It is focused on four key service areas: delivery and transport, special services, tracking and customer support, and supply chain solutions.

2GO also continues to grow and bundle more value added services to its existing and new customers. These value added services include third party logistics (3PL), nationwide air, land and sea transport for lead time sensitive cargo, cold chain management for temperature controlled goods, asset maintenance, money remittance, and domestic and international courier.

2GO is a business unit of Aboitiz Transport System Corp., the only integrated transport solutions provider in the country.
