MANILA, Philippines - Sun Cellular’s “Business” plans can save companies an average of 50 percent on their communications costs while driving up productivity, efficiency and control since communicating is 24/7 without any additional expense.
Sun Cellular vice-president for postpaid and new business Ricky Peña said the key is customization of plans for their corporate clients. “Apart from the savings they get from unlimited voice and data services which we pioneered, our customized plans help them save more because all the services embedded in their respective packages are fully-utilized.”
Peña said “corporate needs are never off-the-shelf hence we do not have built-in packages for our corporate clients. We diagnose their needs, and we come up with tailor-fit solutions for their enterprise.”
For instance, Pena said clients from the healthcare industry, particularly hospitals, can be given packages that would allow them to communicate longer and at the same time provide them the information they need at a snap of a finger. Aside from the unlimited calls, corporate value-added services could be customized and included in their business package. “We try to be as flexible as possible,” he added.
Sun Business combines unlimited services for landline calls, Sun-to-Sun calls and texts, mobile Internet surfing. It also offers corporate value-added services which could help businesses monitor the status and condition of goods to be delivered, allow for wireless point-of-sale for mobile selling of goods, web-based messaging service that allows SMS broadcast, deploy a customer service helpdesk through short message service, corporate online mobile credit reloading system for multiple recipients.
“Our unlimited services coupled with these corporate value-added services, make us a better strategic partner of our corporate clients,” Peña said.
Most of the savings though come from the provisioning of unlimited services. “Sun’s unlimited surf, call and text rates remain unmatched. These are permanent products, not short-lived promos. Our list of corporate clients is growing because companies now realize Sun is offering a viable and equally efficient alternative at half the price,” Peña added.
Sun has several plans that can fit different needs of businesses. For instance, a company with 50 field employees furnished with Sun Fixed Load Plans can call and text each other non-stop for two years and still keep costs down at only P350 per month per unit, inclusive of free phones.
“If any employee wants to call or text other carriers, he has to buy his own load, a built-in cost control,” he said.
Sun Cellular, which pioneered intra-network unlimited wireless service in the country through its 24/7 Call and Text Unlimited is the first in Philippine telecom history to hit one million postpaid subscriptions. This comes as no surprise as for the third consecutive year, up to seven out of 10 new postpaid subscribers have chosen Sun Cellular.
