MANILA, Philippines - The Pest Exterminators Association of the Philippines (PEAP) will host the 22nd Federation of Asian and Oceania Pest Managers Association (FAOPMA) Annual Conference and Exhibition at the SMX Convention Center in Mall of Asia, Pasay City, on Nov. 17-19.

PEAP president Eleazar T. Concepcion said the annual FAOPMA conference will gather hundreds of outstanding domestic and foreign pest control enterprises as well as more than 400 pest control professionals both local and foreign. For two decades now FAOPMA has been very instrumental in promoting innovative technologies in pest management practices.

This year’s conference theme: “Think PEST! Pest Management in the Right Perspective” where P.E.S.T. stands for People, Environment, and Service & Technology. The FAOPMA 2010 is presented by Bayer and co-presented by Leads Environmental Health and Syngenta.

Last year’s FAOPMA annual conference was held in Beijing, China while the 2011 convention will be held in Goa, India.

“We are very much looking forward to this event because we believe that this year’s convention will not only add to our knowledge in Pest Management in the Philippines and international best practices, but also of equal importance is that we look at this as an opportunity to showcase our wonderful country and very hospitable people to the foreign delegates, Rayner Lorenzo, chairman of FAOPMA2010 organizing committee.
