CFO visits Pinoy communities in Canada

- Rainier Allan Ronda -

MANILA, Philippines - The Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) has spearheaded a goodwill visit to Filipino expatriate communities in Toronto and Vancouver, Canada in a bid to inform them of business and investment opportunities in the Philippines.

With the cooperation of the Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP), CFO has conducted a series of conferences called “Bayanihan sa Canada” with Filipino community centers and associations to explore ways by which the Philippine government can render support to programs and services.

The CFO and Landbank delegation conducted the first bayanihan conference in Toronto last Oct. 9 and the second in Vancouver last Saturday.

The CFO said the Bayanihan sa Canada trip was conducted in line with their aim of informing the Filipio community centers and associations abroad about viable businesses and investments available in the Philippines.

The Bayanihan sa Canada got generous support from ABS CBN’s The Filipino Channel.

Information about the Bayanihan sa Canada is available at hyperlink http://www.bayanihan.cfo.gov.ph.
