MANILA, Philippines – Robinsons Land Corp (RLC)., the property development unit of Gokongwei-owned JG Summit Holdings Inc., launched yesterday its newest residential development in the Ortigas central business district – The Sapphire.
In a press briefing yesterday, RLC president Frederick Go said this project is in line with the company’s efforts to further cement its foothold as the largest and most important developer in the Ortigas complex.
To rise on a 2,500-square meter lot strategically bounded by Sapphire and Garnet streets in Ortigas, Pasig City, The Sapphire will consist of two 38-story buildings offering a total of 829 units. The first tower will make available a total of 408 units when completed in 2015.
RLC vice president for business development Mybelle Aragon-Gobio said construction of the second tower will depend on how fast the first tower would be sold out.
A one-bedroom unit with a size ranging from 30-37.3 square meters costs P2.8 million, while a two-bedroom unit occupying 45.5-60 square meters would fetch at P4.5 million. A three-bedroom unit with a size of 97 square meters will be sold at P9 million.
Gobio said penthouse units are likewise available with a size of 218 square meters, worth P24 million each.
With its streamlined art deco-inspired design, premium finishes and well-thought spaces, The Sapphire is deemed to be the most ideal urban retreat in Ortigas.
Amenities include an adult pool, kiddie pool, landscaped garden and a full range of modern facilities such as function rooms, game room, fitness center, private theater, videoke and music room, massage room, children’s play area, WiFi lounge and landscaped open deck.
The Sapphire will be undertaken by Robinsons Residences, the urban lifestyle brand of RLC.
Aside from The Sapphire, other ongoing projects of RLC in the Ortigas CBD include the four-tower Sonata Private Residences on San Miguel Ave. corner Lourdes St., and the 45-story East of Galleria along Topaz St.
Other completed projects within Ortigas are the Robinsons Galleria Mall, Galleria Corporate Center, Robinsons Equitable Tower, Crowne Plaza Galleria Manila and Holiday Inn Galleria Manila.
