MANILA, Philippines - Supply chain solutions provider 2GO is now serving the Batangas port weekly via the freighter vessels 2GO1, 2GO2, and MV Medbay.
2GO CEO Susan Valdez said that 2GO1 and 2GO2 vessels with 600 TEU slot capacity each will be calling alternately from Batangas to the ports of Cebu, Davao, General Santos City, Cotabato, and Manila.
“This move ultimately complements our regular Roll-On Roll-Off Passenger (Ropax) Vessel sailings to and from Manila to various ports in Visayas and Mindanao,” said Valdez.
2GO recently increased its capacity and frequency nationwide with the addition of two new Ropax vessels, SuperFerry 20 and SuperFerry 21, to its service fleet.
“2GO’s wide range of capabilities empowers our customers even with the simplest needs to flexibly serve their own customers. This makes 2GO the reliable supply chain partner that helps customers grow their business,” Valdez said.
With the freighter vessels, 2GO can offer a wider range of network to handle general cargo and temperature-controlled commodities, in 20- and 40-footer container vans, particularly in the southern Luzon market.
2GO also has the in-house capability to serve cargoes with highly-specialized handling requirements, including isotanks, flexibags, breakbulk, out-of-gauge, and hazardous cargoes via the freighter vessels.
