Metrobank partners with remittance firm in the Netherlands

MANILA, Philippines - Metropolitan Bank & Trust Co. (Metrobank) recently expanded its remittance network in the Netherlands through its partnership with Sunro Change B.V.

Sunro Change B.V. is the leading Philippine remittance company in the Netherlands. It is owned and managed by Rosario Ong, with an employee base comprised mostly of Filipinos. It has branches in Den Haag, Eindhoven, and Amsterdam, where its head office is also located.

“We are very glad to be establishing a partnership with a reputable company like Sunro Change B.V.,” said Metrobank senior vice president and head of Metrobank International Offices and Subsidiaries Group, Richard S. So. “Our new partnership will enable Metrobank to reach out and serve the remittance needs of our kababayans in the Netherlands.”

With the agreement, Metrobank is able to provide overseas Filipinos workers (OFWs) based in the Netherlands several fast, secure, and easy means to send money to their beneficiaries in the Philippines.
