Globe bares new business tools for SMEs
MANILA, Philippines – Globe Telecom has introduced new business tools that will allow small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to save on their telecommunications expenses.
Offered through Globe Business, the Globe Negostar Deals allow SMEs savings of up to 30 percent on exclusive packages that are available in all Globe stores.
The business solutions that SMEs can take advantage of are Biz Loop 99 that offers unlimited talk and postpaid plans for as low as P99/month; Biz Laptop Bundle that offers a Neo 3230 Netbook for only P499/month with a broadband package; Biz Trio that offers three Nokia 1680 handsets with unlimited Biz Loop for only P559/month; and Biz Bundle that offers affordable Internet with free landline connection for speeds of up to one Mbps at just P995/month.
SMEs can also avail of Business + which gives them the flexibility to subscribe only to what they want and pay only for what they need. Business + offers various postpaid subscriptions with unlimited call and text features that can be customized to one’s business needs.
Get unlimited calls to Globe and TM, free 300 local texts to other networks, and a Nokia 2960 Classic with the Business Starter 499 plan. For those that prefer unlimited calls to Globe and TM, unlimited texts to Globe and TM, free 60 minutes local calls to other networks, and a Nokia 6303 Classic or Nokia 5233 subscribe to Business Value 999 plan. More Business + options are available for SMEs giving them the flexibility to choose what suits them and what their business requires.
Officials said Globe Business helps SMEs get the business advantage by cutting their telecommunication expenses by as much as 30 percent. Globe Negostar Deals give the best broadband Internet rates and also offer SMEs unlimited calls and texts. More exclusive deals for SMEs are being offered at the Globe stores until May 31, 2010.
Meanwhile, Globe launched the first truly unlimited mobile Internet surfing subscription offer for BlackBerry handset users-the Super Surf for BlackBerry MAX. The latest offering from Globe allows users to access not only websites covered by BlackBerry network such as Twitter, Flickr, Facebook and Multiply, but also sites that are not yet optimized on BlackBerry Access Point Name (APN) like YouTube.
The current Super Surf for BlackBerry allows users to freely surf only on sites within the BlackBerry APN. Accessing sites not covered by the BlackBerry APN, especially those with video streaming, will cost the subscriber extra P5 for every 15 minutes of web browsing.

Open to Globe postpaid BlackBerry subscribers, Super Surf for BlackBerry MAX is just P1,500 a month or P300 for five days, and will be available till Aug. 18, 2010.
To avail of Super Surf for BlackBerry MAX, Globe BlackBerry subscribers simply need to register via SMS by sending BB MAX 300 to 8888, for five days of unlimited browsing, or BB MAX ON to 8888 for the full 30-day service.
