GSK offers 40% price cut

MANILA, Philippines - GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) recently announced a price reduction on the retail price of paroxetine, its innovator prescription drug for the treatment of depression and anxiety.

In line with efforts to improve access to its globally-trusted medicines, GSK intends to offer more help to Filipino patients seeking treatment for feelings of depression or anxiety that interfere witih daily activities.

Patients prescribed with paroxetine can now avail of their treatment at a significantly lower price. Beginning April, its 20mg tablet can now be purchased at the suggested retail price of P65.50, 40 percent lower than its old price.
