MANILA, Philippines - Vista Land & Lifescapes Inc., the holding company for most of the real estate assets of the Villar family, has completed two new low-rise residential buildings in Quezon City, worth a combined P1.86 billion.
The projects – Madison Place and Pine Crest – were completed in December and February, respectively.
The eight-story Madison Place is located within the vicinity of Mariposa just off Santolan Ave. while Pine Crest consists of two five-story buildings and one 10-story building on an 8,000 square meter lot at the corner of Aurora Blvd. and Balete Drive.
The modern, European-inspired Pine Crest has a separate building exclusively for recreational facilities including a swimming pool, gym, game and function rooms.
Following its entry into the vertical homes segment only three years ago, Vista Land recently created a new business unit and brand, Vista Residences, to serve as the holding firm for the group’s residential condominium projects.
“There is an upward trend in demand for condominium residences in highly urbanized Mega Manila, where land is scarce and lifestyle needs are changing. This demand means more potential for revenue and profitability, as sales in the segment continue to grow,” said Vista Land chief executive officer Jing Serrano.
Apart from the two developments, Vista Residences has also started work on four high-rise residential buildings in the past months. These projects include Mosaic in Greenbelt, Avant at the Fort, the first tower of Laureano di Trevi on Chino Roces in Makati, and Crown Tower in Manila.
Vista Land has allotted P10 billion this year to build 30 new projects and fund its landbanking activities. This would bring the group’s total number of projects to 157, which are widely dispersed in 19 provinces and 46 cities and municipalities.
Vista Land is the parent firm of Brittany Corp. which builds high-end communities; Crown Asia, focusing on the mid-range category; and Communities Philippines, which develops projects in the provinces.
