Whirlpool pursues CSR program

MANILA, Philippines - As part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) program, Whirlpool Philippines has partnered with Operation Smile Philippines (OSP), a non-profit organization that provides free reconstructive surgery to indigent Filipino children with cleft lips and cleft palate. In partnership with SM Appliance Center, Whirlpool has committed to donate part of the proceeds from the sale of their microwave ovens bought inside all SM Appliance Center from December 2009 until March 2010. “I am truly grateful to Whirlpool Philippines for choosing Operation Smile Philippines as a beneficiary.
