Retail firm supports DTI price-ceiling

MANILA, Philippines - The country’s pioneering retail firm — Cherry Foodarama (established 1952) announced its total support for the Department of Trade and Industry’s continued call for retailers towards low-prices of basic goods to help majority of Filipino consumers severely affected by the recent natural calamities that hit the Philippines, and thus making Filipino family reunions this Holiday Season more joyful. The said low-prices of commodities are fully implemented in all its branches located in the NCR area, namely Shaw Blvd., Mandaluyong City, Congressional Avenue, Quezon City and Marcos Highway, Antipolo City. The mart, which celebrates its 57th anniversary called – ‘Ok’s-Na-Ok’s’ will likewise give all Filipino consumers the chance to own a brand new Chana Star II during its grand draw on Feb. 14, 2010, with invited guests which include DTI officials and some members of the Filipino-Chinese business community.
