Top Ideas Food gets new GM

MANILA, Philippines - Top Ideas Food Corp., one of the country’s fast growing restaurants’ group, appointed recently, Arnel E. Illana as its new general manager. Illana will oversee the management of the company’s entire operations. A veteran of the food and beverage industry, Illana is expected to bring in his decades of experience to foster the growth of the company’s chain of restaurants such as the Tempura Japanese Grill, Flavours of China, Holy Cow! Stead Ranch and American Grill, Dezaato Pan and Penang Hill. Prior to his appointment as Top Idea’s general manager, Illana holds the position as vice-president for retail operations of the country’s largest theme park, the Enchanted Kingdom. Illana who holds a degree in Hotel and Restaurant management from the University of the Philippines established a reputable career in the food and beverage having worked with some of the country’s biggest and renowned food companies such as the International Family Foods Services, Inc. (IFFSI), operators of Shakey’s Pizza, Red Ribbon Food Corp., Jollibee Foods Corp., Kenny Rogers, Richmond Food Corp. and the Century Park Sheraton Manila, among others.
