Let's Face It steps up expansion program

-

MANILA, Philippines - Let’s Face It, one of the country’s leading one-stop facial and skin care salon, is stepping up its branch expansion to further boost its presence and spur growth, its top executive said yesterday.

On the sidelines of the company’s 10th anniversary celebration, Let’s Face It president Teresita V. Manganti said the salon is looking to build six more branches this year to bring its total store network to 65 by yearend.

Last year, the firm put up five new branches, as its expansion is contingent on the opening of SM malls. “When SM opens new malls, we follow them,” Manganti said.

Some of the stores slated for opening this year are in Angeles, Pampanga; Cebu; Novaliches; and at Hypermart Makati.

Let’s Face It offers personalized facials, body treatments, microdermabrasion and waxing.

Manganti didn’t say how much the company is spending for the construction of new stores, pointing out that the budget would depend on a store’s size.

She said while the company is open to franchising, she doesn’t see it happening anytime soon as it goes full blast on the construction of new company-owned branches. For next year alone, the firm is opening at least six outlets.

She said while the economic slowdown has had an effect on the company’s business, there are still a lot of people who would fork out their money on beauty treatment to look and feel good.

Aside from Let’s Face It, Manganti also owns Going Straight, a one-stop hair straightening shop which has over 40 branches.

Her family also owns the Relaksasi Spa, which offers  Indonesian-style massages, as well as body treatments and facials. – Zinnia B. Dela Peña
