Nuvali sets record development pace

MANILA, Philippines - Pegging a P10 billion land development budget, Ayala Land waves out its “all hands on deck” banner for business units and subsidiaries to ascertain Nuvali’s place as the country’s first and largest “eco-community” township development.

“Since May 2007, at least P2.5 billion has been spent to develop 250 hectares of a contiguous 1,700-hectare property in Sta. Rosa and Calamba, Laguna. The company targets total development of 460 hectares in the next five years, all of which are covered by existing, ongoing and committed projects,” according to Aniceto Bisnar Jr., Ayala Land vice president and general manager for Nuvali.

“We are glad to note this fast rate of Nuvali development. We are only on our 20th month since we started development and we have already covered about 35 percent of this large township area,” Bisnar said.

Nuvali is differentiated by dominant, well-defined and highly visible sustainability features for environmental, social and economic aspects.

The vastness of Nuvali’s area enables Ayala Land to bring in all its various product units into a seamless venture conducting synchronized development in all project segments offering a complete and well-balanced environment for all its customer needs.

Bisnar said that the sales performance of Nuvali’s commercial lots speaks of the market’s enthusiasm to be the first locators in a sustainable environment. Forty percent of Phase 1 commercial lots, with a total value of some P500 million were sold last year, Bisnar said.

But at the same time, this project brings in best practices, key learnings, and innovations by various ALI business units,” Bisnar said.
