MANILA, Philippines - A partnership between Australia’s Metropolitan South Institute of Tafe (MSIT) based in Brisbane, Australia and the Philippines’ Carelink Asia Institute now enables Filipinos to avail themselves of a study-earn-build a career in Australia program. MSIT, named 2008 Queensland Public Training Provider of the Year, offers a range of nursing, healthcare, business, hospitality, information technology, practical and graphic arts certificate and diploma courses during which Filipino international students enjoy part-time work privileges.
Earning in Australia where the standard of living is high but the cost of living is low, enables the international student to support himself, earning enough to pay for living expenses and even part of, or most of his tuition fees.A two-year Australian study residency during which the international student gains certifiable skills and competencies for the Australian work force, earn him a 1 _ years working visa, paving the way to an Australian career.
